MPHS ASB has put together "Finals Care Packs" that will be given to students during first period on Wednesday. Semester one finals are January 24, 25, & 26. Thanks, ASB!

STAMP Test!
Is English your second language? Would you like to take the STAMP test to see if you can earn high school credit for your knowledge of your first language? Please stop by and see your counselor to get more information about this opportunity. The test will take place on March 15th, but you need to sign up before February 9th. See your counselor with any questions.

Cocoa, cookies, and Cram! On January 22nd ASB is providing a cram session Any students who would like to cram for the Semester 1 finals can come to the commons from 5-7 pm to study with their friends. Tutors from Honor Society will be on hand to help. ASB will provide cookies and hot cocoa.

Would you like to join MPHS Administrators on a learning walk?
Learning walks are brief classroom visits, about 10 minutes in length, where you can get a glimpse of the amazing learning happening at Marysville Pilchuck High School. All you have to do is show up! There will be coffee, a few short classroom visits, and a debriefing session with time for discussion and an opportunity to provide feedback.
Parents, extended family, and community members can all take part in these learning walks. Please contact Toni or Aimee in the main office at 360-695-2000 to sign up for this opportunity.

MPHS Drama Club will be presenting their annual Radio Variety Show on Friday,
December 8 at 5:00 pm in the auditorium. This year's show involves singing and an
adaption of the movie "Home Alone." Admission is free, but donations will be gladly
accepted for the Marysville Food Bank!

Upcoming college visits: December 1st - Central Washington University @ 1 pm, Decemer 7th - Art Institute of Seattle @ 9:15 am. Sign-up through your Naviance account.

Now through December 15, students can submit their pledges to graduate on
www.lockettpledge.com. The school to reach 100% of pledges first or the highest % of
pledges based on their enrollment by Friday, December 15 receives $5,000 and a visit
from Tyler Lockett! In addition, the top 5 runner-up schools receive $1,000! Only one
pledge per student is permitted. How Students Pledge? It's easy!
1. Go to www.lockettpledge.com.
2. Click on the Student button.
3. Students fill out their pledge, choose your high school from the drop down menu,
and include their contact information.
4. Click submit.
Student pledges only need to be one sentence long and describe why it's important to
them that they graduate from high school. Only one pledge per student is permitted.

MPHS Lifeskills students are sponsoring a SOCK DRIVE now through December 15th. All socks collect will be donated to the homeless in our area. Please drop you socks off in the main office.
