The Marysville Police Department needs your help to ensure local kids are warm this winter With a goal of giving 1,200 coats for birth to 17-year-olds at the Marysville Food Bank’s annual Toy Store event, police officers are collecting new coats at locations across Marysville starting with Kohl's Department Store in Marysville THIS Saturday, October 13! Students across Washington state in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12 will take the Healthy Youth Survey Oct. 8-19. The survey includes questions related to physical activity and diet, unintentional and intentional injury, substance use, risk and protective factors and access to school-based services. We will talk about important topics about your child’s education including how to access grades (Skyward) and how to help with homework. We will also have information about resources available in the community. There will be time for questions and suggestions with the principal at the end of the session.
Light refreshments will be provided.
We will provide an interpreter for you In Spanish.

Support local youth by taking the Healthy Community Survey! This survey is a tool implemented by the

Student Picture Day is right around the corner. Students were sent home with a picture day envelope last week. Picture day will be this Friday, September 28th. Please send students with their picture day envelope the day of pictures. If you forget your envelope, online ordering is available. The PTSA meeting scheduled for this evening has been canceled. We are actively working on designing a new Board of Directors for the Totem PTSA. Good evening Totem families, we have made it through our first two days of school. Congratulations! We have a couple of short announcements.
1. Tomorrow is our first early dismissal. Dismissal time on Fridays is at 1:20pm.
2. Chromebook deployment for students will be on Monday, September 10th during the school day. To receive a Chromebook, students will need to turn in a signed "Technonology Responsible Use and Safety Agreement form." This form needs to be signed by both the parent and the student. If you did not already complete this form, please send your student to the main office tomorrow, Friday September 7, to pick one up.
